A Detroit-based cultural arts organization, Heritage Works celebrates the beauty and humanity of African people through music, movement and folklore. Designed to promote understanding and skill development, our programs use cultural discovery and arts training to encourage personal and artistic excellence.

Saving Our Youth, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to lead by example and to create a united front in Detroit, MI and surrounding region through caring, encouraging and mentoring students to reach practical goals. We believe that where a climate of grownth and personal development inspires positive change and the desire to live true principles in our youth, their families and our advocates.Initiated by Executive Director and Founder, Macon Gore Sr., Our organization strives to create a positive and rewarding experience for the youth in our community and enable them to achieve their true potential. Individual empowerment and self-determination are strong components of Saving Our Youth, Inc.
