It is the nation's largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans. There are 3 avenues of membership that can be used. A wartime veteran as outlined by congress established dates, Ladies Auxiliary (mostly woman but men can join this organization also) and last but not least the Son's of the Legion (this can be any male family member of a veteran).
