I had my tarp system installed at Ryland Custom Welding, expecting a great experience, but unfortunately, it turned out to be the opposite. Just a couple of months after the installation, the tarp system broke. Without properly inspecting it, Sal immediately blamed me for the issue. Upon closer examination, we discovered that the problem was caused by a few screws falling off in the middle of the aluminum cross tube during normal use. I received a recommendation from a trusted source who pointed out that Ryland had failed to apply the proper adhesive that would have prevented the issue. After reviewing the situation together, Sal and I agreed it was a workmanship problem. I brought the tarp system in for repairs, but they ended up charging me an additional $310 to fix an issue they had caused. While the staff at Ryland is kind, my experience showed that their workmanship is sloppy and their work is not guaranteed. They weren't as professional as I expected, and though the staff is reasonable in person, they couldn't provide a valid explanation for why the problem was my fault or the fault of the tarp system.
