The Pure Land Buddhist Association, Inc. is a non-profit organization that was established in February 2006. The Association follows the precepts and teaching of Buddha's doctrine. The Association emphasizes in Pure Land Buddhism which promotes the Five Sutras and One Treatise. This consists of the Infinite Life Sutra, the Amitabha Sutra, the Visualization Sutra, the "Chapter of Universal Worthy Bodhisattva's Conduct and Vows", the "Chapter on the Perfect and Complete Realization of Great Strength Bodhisattva", and the Vasubandhu Bodhisattva's Report. Pure Land Buddhism emphasizes aspects of Mahayana Buddhism stressing faith in Amitabha Buddha, meditation and chanting of his name, and the religious goal of being reborn in the "Western Paradise."
