This tow experience started out good, but quickly went down hill. I had scheduled a tow through usaa, because my truck had broken down in my driveway. Everything went as it should until the driver showed up. He never would give me his name. My truck was parked in my driveway facing out and should have been easy enough to load. He insisted on rolling my truck out into the street and turning it to face the back of his truck. I could hear very unpleasant noises coming from my truck as he yanked on the steering wheel, but he was done with before I got his attention. He finally got it loaded and drove to the auto shop. I had asked him not to block their gate or bays, because I knew they couldn't get to it right away. He put it in front of the bay and refused to move it. He said he put it there so they'd get to it first. I told him I already knew they couldn't and it needed to be moved. He called his dispatcher and told me they were done and wouldn't move it. He then tells me he can't get the keys out of the ignition, and yanks them a bunch to show me. Then he said again that he wouldn't move it, and he left. I called usaa immediately. They contacted the towing company (within 3 minutes of the driver leaving), and the dispatcher said the driver was already on another job, and they had done their job with me and would not come back. I also tried to get the keys out of the ignition. They are stuck and the truck is not fully off. I can only assume all the yanking on the steering wheel while he move the truck out of my driveway has broken something, because that was never an issue before. This company and multiple employees have no customer service skills. Such a disappointment, when a small amount of effort and an extra 3 minutes of work could have corrected part of their error and gone a long way toward getting a decent review. I am currently waiting on another towing company to come and move the truck within the parking lot.
