Established in 1941. Stines radiator first started in 1941 when Max Stine opened up a shop on south Potomac st. His brother Mert Stine soon started working there a few years later along with other family members and employees. In the early 1950's the business was moved to 644 west washington st. In 1963 Max passed away and Mert took over the business the next year. Mert's son Jeff Stine started helping in the shop when he was old enough.
