We accepted his quote to remodel the bathroom. We had the bathroom gutted out and we supplied the materials needed. He had worked over the weekend with his son. He wanted to hang my heavy medicine cabinet on one stud. Our bathroom door would not close, (he did not cut greenboard-to close to the door frame, put our glass shower doors backward-no handle inside tub to open door. He did not read directions that brand new Sterling doors came with) Our bath surround was not level so the walls do not completely connect. He left messes throughout. He did not bring shopvac, I ended up letting him use our vacuum. We brought this to his attention, he got very offended. He put in a hour of work but left and did not fix. He said he would be back in a week. He forward the directions to us for the shower door. We never heard from him again. We paid him in full, and left our bathroom half way done. We are going to have to hire someone to fix the mistakes and finish the job, but we have to wait for 1 1/2 months with our bathroom torn apart. We have family coming for the holiday. So this is very upsetting all around.
