Dr. Butler is not just known for his surgical creativity … instrumentalist. Raised in a family of medical professionals which also included a concert pianist, painter, and a ceramicist, Dr. Butler was trained in classical painting, music and creative writing. Exhibited in numerous solo and group shows, his paintings are held in many collections in the United States and in Europe.
