EXECUTIVE ROLES Andreas has held ongoing Executive Roles in celebrated Hotels and Hospitality Companies including his very young appointment as VP & GM at the Condado Holiday Inn in San Juan Puerto Rico where he assumed responsibilities for a $35 million business that he restructured to become the Condado Plaza Hotel & Casino, a Member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts. He subsequently managed the luxury, world-renowned El San Juan Hotel & Casino as VP & MD to become the Caribbean’s first hotel recognized jointly as a member of “The Leading Hotels of the World” and a member of “Preferred Hotel and Resorts”. “MAKING LEMONADE OUT OF LEMONS” Andreas gained his restructuring expertise “Making Lemonade out of Lemons” from more than 30 years of hands on hotel real estate, sales & marketing and operations management. As developer and owner/operator of the 1st newly built Hyatt Place Hotel in Orlando/Lake Mary, he succeeded to open on time, within budget and position the hotel as market leader during the recession in 2008 and beyond.He was recognized as “Best Practice Champion” in Revenue Management and Global Sales by Cornell University and American Express, for Best REVPAR performance in 2011 amongst 165 Hyatt Place Hotels, Best Customer Service Award for 2009, 10 & 12 by Hyatt Hotels. INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE Andreas communicates comfortably in English, Spanish, French and German and has extensive International Experience PRESIDENT & CEO FOR SWISSAIR’S HOTEL PORTFOLIO SWISSOTEL HOTELS & RESORTS Andreas was then named President & CEO for Swissair’s hotel portfolio Swissotel Hotels & Resorts, that he successfully restructured as the ‘Lexus’ of the global luxury brands in 2001 having doubled the number of hotels and rooms in inventory. Its subsequent sale, negotiated by his team, represented globally one of the highest yielding hospitality real estate transactions.
