My car buying experience with Brian was negative, to say the least. I purchased a Honda S2000 from him last year. He assured me everything was in working order (other than a power steering warning light) and was checked out by his shop. He also took the car to an independent shop for me to confirm. I picked up the car in the evening and the next day tried to find out why the steering light was on. Within half an hour, I had found the cause; some wiring was damaged. The damage was from significant front-end structural damage. The car had been in a major accident, and the damage was poorly repaired. In addition, the computer codes showed that the steering computer and airbag computers would both need to be replaced. I called Brian the next day and informed him of the structural damage and other issues I found. I requested he take the car back or refund a portion of my payment to help cover the repairs. His response was “I’m in business to make money. I’ll have to think about this and give you a call back.”. He never called back, and never offered any further assistance. I’ve since spent $2,500 on the car for repairs, and haven’t even touched the structural issues yet. I’ve accepted the loss and sucked it up as a life lesson. I’d recommend spending your hard-earned money elsewhere if you don’t want to learn about used car buying the hard way.
