Puerto Rico Manufacturing Extension is also affiliated with with the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) of The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). PRiMEX is fitted to serve the needs of Puerto Rico's small and medium enterprise by providing services needed to improve their manufacturing processes. As part of the NIST/MEP system, PRiMEX has access to the resources of the other 70 Industrial Extension Centers across the mainland and over 700 organizations and laboratories affiliated to NIST. This powerful resource base is available to serve the needs of the small and medium manufacturers of Puerto Rico.
