My name is Stan McCall, I raise and sell red worms also known as red wiggler worms for vermicomposting and fishing bait.
If you live in Los Angeles, Riverside, or Orange County, worms can be picked up at my shop in Cypress.
All the worms I sell are hand counted for size and maturity. I sell all my worms by count, not by weight. Most worm farms will claim 600 - 1000 worms per pound, (that' a pretty big spread). If I sell you 1000 worms, you will actually receive 1100 worms, I always add at least 10% over-count of worms to every order. This is just good business, I have never weighed my worms and never will.
Please visit my website to view current worm prices.
