We are in the unfortunate company as the other reviewer. We hired Orion in March to update our AC system and gave him a 12,500, cash deposit to order materials. It wad concerning how difficult it was to get him to start the work with lots of excuses. He came in over a 3 week period and removed pieces of our old system - rendering it unworkable - and has now disappeared. He will not return our calls, text, or emails. Leaving us in a terrible situation heading into summer. We hope that legal action against him will stop him from hurting others.

I'm a general contractor, and hired Orion for two jobs in the city of Ithaca. I gave him sizable down payments. Orion lied about being licensed for city plumbing work, lied about getting work permits, and in one case, lied about getting an inspection in order to get a second payment from me. He also lied about having liability insurance and workers compensation, he has neither. When this all came to light, he stopped returning calls, emails and texts, and ran off with all the money I fronted to him, and has yet to respond to anything I've sent him. He's also removed almost all of his online presence. All told, between the money he took from me, the fees I had to pay to my insurance company for his lack of insurance, and money spent consulting with my lawyer, he cost me well north of $20,000, and left me with a complete mess of unpermitted and unfinished work. Stay far, far away from this person.
