Dr. Schwartzberg graduated from the Honors Program at the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. She earned her degree in Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in 2000. She completed her four year residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Abington Memorial Hospital outside of Philadelphia, PA. In 2004, Heather moved to Charleston to be closer to her extended family and subsequently joined Lowcountry Women's Specialists, becoming a practicing partner. She is board certified and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her husband, Brian, is a local emergency room physician and they have four children. She has participated on the diaconate and is an active member of First (Scots) Presbyterian Church in downtown Charleston, where she currently teaches adult and youth Sunday school. She enjoys gardening and baking in her spare time.

Dr. Hunter is a seventh generation Charlestonian. She was born at Roper Hospital and raised on James Island, SC. She has always loved the Lowcountry and considers it among the most beautiful areas of the US. Her bio is a story of returning home. She has lived and worked in this area most of her adult life. Dr. Hunter attended Duke University, graduating with a double major in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering. She returned to the Lowcountry for medical school at MUSC, where she met her husband, Dr. Jairy C. Hunter, of Summerville. During med school, she worked at General Engineering Labs for George and Molly Green, who later founded Water Missions International.

Dr. Jon Katz is a Board-Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine (high-risk pregnancy) with 35 years experience practicing at HCA Healthcare Summerville Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists. His interests include identification and management of birth defects, management of higher-order gestations including twins/triples, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy prevention, and resident education.
