Our home addition project lasted for over a year thanks to this company. The owner and son are incompetent. The 5 star reviews they received in 2019 were for jobs completed while they were supposed to be working on our house. They lied multiple times and swore at us almost every day. Every situation was handled unprofessionally and we were made to think we were causing problems for even the littlest question/concern. He forced us to allow him to smoke in our house and we are not smokers. They left cigarette butts all over our house and our property. ALL of the subcontractors that worked on our job refuse to work with them ever again. Employees from Menards in Morris told us that the owner hasn't been in for awhile and they do not miss him at all! We have pictures of their incomplete/inconsistent/incorrect work that we had to hire other people to fix. During the year, he walked off the job twice, screamed and texted profanities at us multiple times, and threatened to sue us for non-payment when we had a check waiting for him to pick up. We felt trapped and that we had to stick with him because we were so far into the job. The owner angers very easily. In the end, he left and never came back to correct his mistakes. He left us hanging for months without responding and holding up our inspection. It took us until today to get our keys back and he refuses to return any of our blueprints. Our job began in January 2019. Please don't get involved with this company. They are some of the nastiest people I have ever met.
