After graduating with honors from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology, I worked as a Veterinary Technician for many years. Now, I am a full-time stay-at-home dad in the city of Maricopa. My great passion has always been caring for animals, which is why my friends and neighbors would often ask me to trim their pets' nails for them. My observation was that majority of pet owners are nervous or unsure of what to do, which can result in letting the nails become neglected and overgrown. This realization gave way for the idea to start Mobile "Peticures” by Eddie Avila to help my community with their furry loved ones.
The ASPCA recommends trimming your pet's nails about every 4-6 weeks. If they are clicking on the ground, or getting snagged on carpet and furniture, it is time for a trim. Keeping up with regular trims may be more important than you realize to your animal's health and over-all well-being. Nails that are too long can cause their feet to get out of alignment and interrupt the flow of energy, cause discomfort, affect their health, and cause a variety of problems. That is why I am here to help!
Many of my clients find that my mobile pet nail trim service is more convenient and less expensive than taking your loved on into the vet office or groomer. Sometimes challenging animals who otherwise do not like their nails trimmed are more relaxed in the comfort of their own home. My goal is to provide quality care for every animal that I visit, as well as educate the owners on how to trim nails in a way that is safe for both themselves and their fur baby. If I can make the critter feel better with each visit, I have done my job!
