Conducting business the way bill davis does happens when you only made it to the 8th grade, then dropped out cuz it was too difficult. Throw in a bad temper and the inability to reason, finally wanting to fight anyone that criticizes him his business and there you have smoke em staining. Good luck bill.

I can't speak for his log cabin staining but "DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY FOR PAINTING"!!!!! I have plenty of photos and a 13 minute video I can share of the type of work he delivers. Very poor quality, paint lines cross over each other, you can see bleed through areas where areas are darker next to the trim and he left our windows an absolute disaster from paint splatter or drops. On the windows, wherever the paint splattered, they would simply wipe with a rag, which left oily marks that needed to removed with paint thinner. It was a total pain trying to get it all off. On top of all of this, we actually kicked him off of our property after he threatened to physically hit me in the face after I pointed out the areas we would like corrected. He accused both my wife and I of knit picking his work and my wife simply stated this is a new home and we just want it done right! Bill was paid over $13K for job that in our opinion, could have been completed better by a group of high school football players. Did I mention, it took him over 7 weeks to complete the job while making excuses all along the way. Save yourself the headache and do not hire him for any project.
