Whitetail Valley Farm is a small family farm in Southwest Iowa. We celebrate the beauty of nature and honor our Swiss family traditions. Our farm operates in three areas: our meadow orchard, Grampaw's Pumpkin Patch and Whitetail Valley Cellars. We began planting our orchard in 2010 and it is beginning to come into production. Whitetail Valley Farm is a small family farm in Southwest Iowa. We celebrate the beauty of nature and honor our Swiss family traditions. Our farm operates in three areas: our meadow orchard, Grampaw's Pumpkin Patch and Whitetail Valley Cellars. We began planting our orchard in 2010 and it is beginning to come into production. Designed to follow an old world style of fruit production called "Streuobstweise" it is managed without dependence on chemicals. We have both modern and vintage apple varieties, pear, cherry and peach trees growing. We sell apples when they are available. We began Grampaw's Punkin Patch in 2015 and we grow pumpkins, melons, squash and gourds. Our pumpkin patch is set up to showcase nature's fall beauty and celebrate the harvest. We have nothing scary for the little ones and lots of fall beauty for the older ones. Our third area of operations is currently under development at Whitetail Valley Cellars where we are constructing a winery to produce Apfelwein and hard cider. It is hoped that winery will be up and going in year or so. You can watch the progress on our Facebook page. For availability of produce check our Facebook page where we update what is available and in season at the farm. Currently we are open by appointment.
