If I could give Scott Wyatt a zero rating I would, he has absolutely no people skills. I called and left a message for him to call me back regarding my mother who is getting a small settlement and if Medicaid would take it from her because she needs a burial plan and has no insurance. I had only asked him 3 short questions - which he kept interrupting me every other word from the very beginning. He then told me that he wasn't going to get into planning with me and that he had a meeting to go to. I don't even know what he was talking about, I was asking very simple yes/ no questions, not planning questions. I told him that if he didn't have time to talk to me then he shouldn't have called me in the first place! He rudely said that he didn't have time for a 30 minute conversation and kept mumbling. Our conversation was 4 minutes 36 seconds and over a minute was spent on why he couldn't talk and that he was providing a free service, etc. - things that didn't make any sense. It would have taken up less time for him to just let me finish my last question and give me a simple yes/no then to be rude to me. I told him that his behavior was absolutely ridiculous and he hung up on me! I called back to file a compliant and left a message. I only realized afterwards that it wouldn't do any good because he owns the company. Anyway he called me back and was very smug because it's like someone complaining about the manager to the manager - absolutely pointless. I told him that his behavior was rude and that he needs to rethink how he talks to people. I'm sure it won't do any good, but I hope he is ashamed of himself (but probably not). I am not on Medicaid and was only trying to find out information for my elderly mother. I think it's a shame how people who are on public assistance are treated by people who think they are obviously better than others. If you can't take the time to speak with people in a proper manner than maybe you are in the wrong line of work Mr. Wyatt! If you are too busy, it's a good idea to call people when you aren't rushed! If my simple questions were too "hard" for you, then maybe you should have asked to call me back at a later time when you could speak to me like a person instead of trash! I am a professional and I am appalled at your rude, ignorant behavior - a 2 year old has more patience than you! SHAME ON YOU!

Hello, I would like to take a little bit of your time and let you know my experience dealing with WV Medicaid Advisor Scott Wyatt. My grandma was in Pine View Nursing Home, during this time she was covered by her insurance, but only until the PT was over then to self pay, wow, my grandma and I had seen Mr Scott Wyatt a few years back after my grandpa had passed away, he was very helpful then, so I thought lets give Scott a call and see if there would be any help for Grandma, wow, I contacted Scott and in no time the ball was rolling and my Grandma was approved for Medicaid to ease the burden and protect what her and grandpa had saved their entire lives for their kids. Scott and his assistant was top notch through the entire process, if I have to deal with this type of situation again, I will definitely be calling Scott Wyatt for his HELP!!! For all reading this I highly recommend Scott Wyatt for you WV Medicaid Advisor!!!
