Riverview Farms purchased the Funk orchard off of Old Maids Lane in South Glastonbury in 1977. In a need to market our apples we began renting the Old Cider Mill on Main street in South Glastonbury. Bill Dufford is a kid at heart and added fun things to do along with the apple and cider sales. The Fall events grew to include a petting zoo, hay rides, face painting, birthday parties, tours, and baby chicks to hold plus a 24' Pumpkin Bounce!
