Not to be trusted. Marc was hired by my contractor to disconnect a radiator and after my floor was fixed to come back and replace it with a new baseboard radiator. Marc came out and disconnected the radiator, ran tubing to where the new radiator would be and I paid him $550. Unfortunately the Covid lock down hit and all work stopped. This negative review is in no way related to any delays during the lock down. Those delays are understandable. It is what transpired once work was able to resume again. Months later my contractor finished their work and we tried calling Marc to come out and finish the installation.
On Sunday 8/16 he texted me he was shooting for that Weds to come finish the radiator, and asked to come over to review the work because it had been so long since it was started, which is understandable. On Monday 8/17 in early afternoon he called to say that he was at a job and when that was completed he'd like to come over. I agreed. At 8:42 at night I texted him asking for an ETA on his arrival since he still wasn't here to which he replied that he had an emergency call, needed to postpone to Tuesday 8/17 and he would call me when we was heading over. I thought it was still plenty of time to have the work completed on Weds. At 4:54 on Tuesday 8/17 I tried calling him and it went to voicemail. I texted him, no response. From that point on Marc has not returned repeated texts or calls to either myself or the Contractor who hired him. So not only am I out of my $550 paid directly to him - my contractor was supposed to pay the balance upon completion of the work - I have no heat in my kitchen and it is approaching winter. To hire a new plumber to complete the work means I have to pay out of pocket. If you are looking for plumbing service I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere.
