Carothers Olive Oil was purchased from Mr. Carothers, who started the company in the early 1960's. The company was brought to Michigan (Flint) in 1980 Carothers Olive Oil brings you top quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the first pressing/cold pressed. Carothers Olive Oil has a consistent, wonderful flavor that is full and rich. I worked for the company for 20 years and just recently purchased this company when it was closed in 2010. It has taken me some time to pull all of this "going into business" thing together but we will be opening in April, 2011 at the latest! I am working on the website and phone lines are in so feel free to call anytime and if I am not there...I shall call you back very soon. :)) Marie
