St. Laurence Catholic School is committed to the trinity of parent, child, and educator working together to achieve these goals. A challenging academic atmosphere in which emphasis is placed on the development of analytical skills enable our students to become lifelong learners. By experiencing a firm, fair, and encouraging environment that recognizes individual learning differences, students develop self-discipline, self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-reliance. Daily teaching of Catholic doctrine and weekly participation in worship allows Christian values to become an integral part of a child’s life. Children are encouraged to live as Jesus taught us to live, and know that they are loved as children of God. Community is the foundation upon which Christianity is built. Students are aware of their role as members of the Christian community through their daily experiences and interactions. They are encouraged to use their gifts and talents to help others through service.   Educators at St. Laurence are encouraged to create a stimulating and nurturing classroom environment. Teachers are given ongoing opportunities to obtain continuing training in the latest instructional methods to meet the needs of our students.
