Zion Mennonite Church: A Community in and around Elbing At Zion, you will encounter a diverse group of people on a common journey. Rooted in the rural community of Elbing, members and friends also live in the surrounding communities of Peabody, Whitewater, and Newton. Zion is unique simply because it is a composite of unique people. We are babies and grandparents, teenagers and baby boomers, young adults and middle aged. We are farmers and nurses, homemakers and mechanics, students and teachers, musicians and athletes. Both professional and personal interests combine to lend a richness and flavor to the Zion experience. Please consider visiting--and bringing your uniqueness to our community.
