Remnant Fellowship - Bible-Based Church with International Following Headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee, Remnant Fellowship Church reaches the members and visitors in over 150 locations worldwide through webcasts that offer a message of profound love and deep purpose. Dedicated to conveying the genuine teachings of Jesus Christ, Remnant Fellowship Church stands as a counterweight to the national epidemics of obesity, broken marriages, and hurting children. Inspired by the teachings of founder Gwen Shamblin, the Remnant Fellowship Church emphasizes loving bonds between children and parents and the joy of revitalized health and restored marriages. Whatever the hardships one faces, a supportive community is there to encourage healing and the discovery of a lasting relationship with God. For three decades, Gwen Shamblin has also led Weigh Down Ministries, which focuses on moving people beyond the health problems and social isolation associated with “excess food intake.” She has extensive experience in motivating others to make proper eating decisions, with faith as a guidepost. As defined in her bestselling book, Weigh Down Diet, shedding pounds goes hand in hand with a firm foot on the path of temperance and trust in Jesus Christ.
