OMG do NOT make the same mistake I made and live vicariously through my misery with ROOTER KING! It is hard to know where to begin so I guess I will just leave my testimonial of my experience with this company who should NOT even be allowed to function in the greater Asheville Area. We started this journey 6 months ago with a 1hp Liberty Pump burning out. At the time we had no idea what was wrong all we know if the toilets stopped flushing and sewage was coming up through the shower. We decided to put our faith in ROOTER KING the biggest mistake we have made since moving to. North Carolina! The person they send do not even have work vehicles they have 1 guy who drives his truck and had NO EQUIPMENT at all. NOT even a socket to remove the top of the Tank he corroded mine and still has it. He replaced the pump and then the floats and totally messed up the floats which would smoke from shorting out a pathetic attempt to replace with new only do botch the wiring. That repair was over $1,000 1 month later we have the same trouble. The guy tells us it must be Tampons and he tells us he cleared the line. That repair was $300 A few weeks later the same thing happens we call for warranty they use a snake and tell us some kid must have thrown a toy down the toilet but we never see anything he just lied and that cost us another $300 - NO WARRANTY WITH THIS SCANDALOUS COMPANY. A few weeks later it happens again we are beside ourselves and sickened that we now can not believe anything these people are telling us as they RIP US OFF. A few weeks later it happens again this time he clears the line and tells us it was roots yet there is no tree anywhere close to the septic and they charge us again another $300 2 days later it happens again we lose our minds we demand a refund from the past few visits knowing they are idiots have NO CLUE and ripping us off. We call a REAL COMPANY called MOTIVATION SEPTIC. They show up with a nice van with markings showing the name of the company and the truck is a van filled with every kind of diagnostic equipment you could ever hope for with a septic issue. They also had a trailer and mini bobcat excavator. They immediately moved to put a camera into the system through the trap and it was impossible to push it in there was a clog. The clog was due to the fact that the 1000 gallon solids container was overfill to the top and pushing sewage back into the lines back to the house. They used a camera to see clearly what was going on. Rooter King never made a peep about the tank may be full they had NO Diagnostic equipment they are idiots. This new company that used a special high pressure washing machine to clear out the line back to the solid tank. Sent in the camera and you could see the 1000 gallon Solids tank was totally full. Motivation Septic then called in Buncombe County Septic pumping who could not believe that Rooter King totally botched the problem. Both companies could not believe how bad we were robbed by Rooter King. Both Companies stated they should have put a camera down on the first visit or at least by the second visit. ROOTER KING ARE ABSOLUTE RIP OFFS. DO NOT EVEN THINK IF USING THIS COMPANY THEY HAVE BO CLUE. WE WERE ROBBED AND NOW IN THE PROCESS OF DISPUTING THR PAST 2 CHARGES. DO YOUR HOMEWORK /HOMEOWNER BEWARE!
