I was given an estimate of $200 by Frank to replace a section of aluminum covering on my roof rake. I agreed to the work and signed required documents which included credit card info for payment upon completion (they wanted a card on file).....big mistake. The guys arrived around 8:45am and left at 9:54am. When I finally received the statement via email about what they charged my card, it was $800. They charged me 4x the original estimate for just over an hours worth of work. When I reached out for an explanation I was fed bull**it excuses and lies about the same work being done on other houses in my neighborhood, when I know for a fact that similar damage was done to only one other house and they did not have REI do it. This company is beyond deceptive and shady. I should have known right away when they wanted a credit card up front. Lesson learned. Let me do the learning for you...avoid doing business with this deceptive company.
