I do NOT recommend this tax preparer/"Enrolled Agent" for any women who are in relationships with abusive men, because Angelo can be bought out! I personally have a very unpleasant experience when requesting copies of tax returns of the business that he prepared, that was in my name. He told me that the returns belonged to the man of whom I was ending a domestic relationship, since he supposedly was the person who paid for his services. I just left and decided to not make a big deal out of it, because raising my children and moving on with our lives was more important. I found out not too long ago, when my income tax refund went to pay back taxes, that I supposedly owed, from this business, (from 7 1/2 and more years prior to that time) that Angelo and the father of my children, both claimed that it was all completed and taken care of, (when I left that situation of domestic violence). Angelo had apparently been fraudulently representing my name for tax extensions and a payment arrangement with the IRS, on my behalf, but for my children's father's benefit, in my name, to slowly pay what ever taxes had been owed and I had no knowledge of it, until I called the IRS to find out where my tax return was.... He puts on a good front as a nice family man and his wife seemed nice, but alone, when backed in the corner, this man can be very unpleasant and coersive if he thinks you are onto what ever scheme he is going along with! He yelled at me and told me a very high dollar amount that I would have to come up with, if I wanted a copy of anything from him, knowing my situation and that I was not financially capable of the amount! Then it turned out that those tax returns were not completed at that time after all! The funny part was, I NEVER signed for his services. I was just aware that my children's father claimed to be taking care of it with him and told by BOTH of them that it was all done and handled. I had just simply dropped off documents, at their request to get it done..... So could I add "Forgery" on either one of their behalfs...? I would say so! Has anybody else ever had a similar experience? Thank you for reading my complaint and recommendation to proceed with caution, when considering doing business with this individual!
