This post is unfortunate for me as I am actually related to Tommy Osman which is the person in charge of everything at M&M Boat Repair in Denison, Tx. My father took his boat to Tommy Osman at M&M Boat repair in Denison and agreed on a rebuild of the motor for $2000. Tommy signed a not stating a receipt of payment at that time, the work to be done(motor rebuild), and the remaining balance. After a month the boat was still not ready so my father went to talk to Tommy about it, Tommy then asked for more money stating there were parts that needed to be replaced that he did not know about. Jackie stated that he paid the first half and a rebuild was agreed upon and that no more money was owed until the rebuild was complete. Tommy got very upset and tried to go back on the statement he had signed. More time went on and finally Tommy's wife Sabrina told my wife to tell my father the boat was ready. I do not know why M&M would not contact their client directly. Today my father went to pay the remaining balance but before he did he told Tommy that he needed to hear it run. Tommy said he would start it after he got the money. Tommy even pulled my fathers boat out into the yard yelling I GOT A BOAT, I GOT A BOAT. Eventually the Sheriff had to be called to resolve the situation. Tommy finally agreed to try to start the boat, IT TOOK 45 MINUTES AND SPRAYING BRAKE CLEANER IN THE CARBURETOR to start the motor.
