My son had gone to Galveston Texas to help clean the beach. Afterwards he walked back to his truck to find that it wouldn't crank. My wife and I drove to Galveston Texas to see if we could help. We tried everything to get it to start with no luck. We were 75 miles from home with no way to get the truck home. A wrecker would have cost him $455.00 so that was out of the question. We called around hoping to find a mechanic shop open on Saturday afternoon with no luck. It was 1:00 pm and we had run out of options. My wife's phone rang and it was Patrick. My wife had called his business but there was no answer. He was just calling back the number that showed up on his caller id. Patrick advised us that his shop closes at 12 noon on Saturday but he would come out to look at my son's vehicle. Sure enough, Patrick shows up 5 minutes later and diagnosed the problem on the spot. "Your starter is bad". "Let's get it over to my shop and I will have you back on the road in 1 hour". So we buy a starter from a local auto parts house and pull my son's truck over to his shop where he quickly replaced the starter. Patrick is an honest man and a damn good mechanic. He quoted at fair price and stuck to it. He knew we were stranded in Galveston Texas and would have to pay whatever price he wanted. We were so happy with the service that we paid him for the repair and even tipped him $45.00. If you're in the Galveston area and need a honest mechanic, this is the place to go.
