A premiere day and boarding college-preparatory school, TMI is the ideal place for students to learn, grow, engage and become the leaders of tomorrow. At TMI, we are proud to grant admission to students from all over the world, educating students in grades 6-12 (boarding options for grades 8-12). A premiere day and boarding college-preparatory school founded in 1893 and located in the Texas Hill Country, TMI is the ideal place for middle school and high school students to learn, grow, engage, and become the leaders of tomorrow. By embracing technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship with programs such as robotics, advanced math topics, design, fine arts, world languages, and a distinguished Corps of Cadets leadership program, TMI prepares students to be leaders with compassion, integrity, and character in their chosen fields. We are excited to have you become a part of our community and the legacy of our century-old school. We welcome you to grow with us in Wisdom, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Reverence as you make your mark in TMI’s history. Challenged. Cherished. Known. At TMI, we believe every person deserves to be valued and heard. We recognize that students are unique in the challenges they face and the interests they have. This is why since 1893, the TMI community continues to work together to help students explore their passions and succeed in all walks of life. We accomplish this by remaining true to our identity as an Episcopal school that brings in the best faculty to our campus who are dedicated to serving in a student-centered environment. TMI is a leader of innovation and design thinking–an approach to learning and serving, reflected in our Episcopal roots, that develops academically-prepared and empathetic leaders to their fullest potential. Additionally, our student community is made up of both day students and boarding students. Attracting students from across Texas and all around the globe, the boarding students in our Residential Life program bring a unique sense of culture and community that enriches the lives of all students at TMI. When our students graduate, they don't receive a diploma from someone who doesn't know their name...instead, they are cherished for who they are and celebrated for who they are becoming.
