Thomas Weisel Partners was heavily invested in technology during the dot-com boom and revenue peaked early on in the firm’s lifetime. Following the conclusion of the tech bubble, TWP diversified into other growth areas such as healthcare and consumer products and continued to operate successfully until it was acquired by Stifel Financial in 2010.
