Great service! Out of the top ten companies listed in directory, the majority did not answer with the company name and had me guessing. They could not repeat my information attempting to leave a message some of the offices responded with: call back after lunch or its hunting season etc. Many required a minimum and didn't offer one property line estimate. Prices ranged for the same work a minimum of $500 as they said it was not worth sending out a crew otherwise. As time was of the essence, it was wonderful to get an appointment, the next day with Mr.Lorenzen. His prices were so completive, that I had all five lots surveyed. I am a disabled person and thought people would be honest and treat me with respect. From Appalachian to William Gordon out of ten calls, less than three responded. One company promised to survey the next day but never showed up. I received two calls several weeks later, telling me that they could fit me into their schedule. Many of these companies gave me the impression, that they were doing me a favor. I own over 25 properties in Jefferson County but never got the chance to offer these properties. The companies asked for property info (easily available online) as well as plans for property selling or building. I also felt they were in cahoots with other businesses.
