The National Lekotek Center nurtures the replication of the Lekotek model nationwide. The network is currently comprised of 20 affiliates that offer the traditional Lekotek model of programs, including the play session, toy lending libraries and oftentimes, Compuplay programs, and a myriad of unique programs that meet the diverse needs of the families within the context of their own communities. The National Lekotek Center serves as the central source for information about starting and growing a Lekotek program - and about using parts of the Lekotek model in other human services settings. New Lekotek programs become part of the National Lekotek Center network of affiliates after their staff have been trained and certified by the National Lekotek Center.
