I tried your shrimp and crab stew. Like your gumbo the rue was burnt and the rich was hard. It has no flavor, need gumbo file and seasoning.

I was born in Eunice, Louisiana a while ago and have lived out of the state for years. I usually try and make a trip to Louisiana as often as I can; my husband and I just returned from a visit to the Lafayette area this past Monday. While we were threre I picked up some items we cannot get here in North East Alabama, such as Community coffee in large bags, Tony Chachere products who was a first cousin of my Grandmother, and good smoked sausage. We bought your smoked sausage and brought some home. We really like it but cannot get it here. I am taking a piece of the packagethe sausage was in with the bar code, to our Wal Mart here to see if they can order it for our local store, it is in Centre, Alabama.
