Deaf Education

MSSD provides a tuition-free day and residential four-year high school program for deaf and hard of hearing students from the U.S. and its territories. MSSD students receive an academically rigorous program that develops them into self-directed, independent, resourceful learners who demonstrate essential knowledge, literacy, and the social and communication skills necessary to be productive and contributing members of society.
