Started by John P Canniff in 1960, a 1941 Dunwoody graduate machinist. Had nasty ear infection that kept him home from war, working 12 hour shifts making cannons at Northern pump in Fridley. After Korean war worked with Ronny Hacking at Machinery Exchange co. and at Minneapolis Moline. Had large family to support 6 boys and 4 girls with wife Doris, so needed to make more money and started Inter Plant.
