In 1990 we opened our hobby store because we found the train that I had as a child. I decided to repair my train myself and started to look for hobby stores in my area. There were not any close by, so because I have 6 children of my own we as a family opened Barrett's Hobby Hut. Initially we carried Crafts, baseball cards, but as time went by the things that really stuck in our area were Trains and Models. Today we carry many vintage toy trains, Lionel and MTH brands.
