Dr. Ryan is originally from Columbus, Georgia, where he developed a number of interests and ideas about what he wanted to do when he grew up. His mother, a nurse, helped foster his interest in healthcare. After earning a Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Georgia, he began training for his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia.
