I had a terrible experience with Midwest Asphalt on at $47,000 parking lot repaving. They ripped out all power to my exterior sign and parking lot lights through their excavating. They then denied it was them. In some areas they dug down 18" to 20" and we have photographs and the pulled out junction boxes. No other work was being done by any other company. They were told about the electrical situation. They then denied it was them. The electrician stated that it was pulled out with force. I do not appreciate lying and not accepting responsibility for their actions. They should have liability/damage insurance to cover an incident such as this. Even though I and they agreed to a 3 pay plan, I paid in full at completion. BIG mistake. I thought they had integrity. Anyone looking for a review on this company should take this to heart. They also hit a power line at an adjacent business and it knocked out their power immediately so they could not get out of it. Ours was NOT noticed until three days after when my staff noticed that NO night lights came on. Nick
