I bought 2 pounds of fresh picked strawberries in Newark Farmers Market in Newark, Delaware. The stickers indicated these berries came from Mike Lott Family Farms. They were unusual berries, more cylindrical in shape than cone shaped, and more uniform in size than most strawberries. They were delicious. My wife and I ate the last of them late yesterday evening. I went back for more of these berries today, but they were all gone. As these were early berries, ones I had never seen before, I would like to know what strain of strawberries these were.
