H & E CLOCKS GIVES THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE. RUN AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT! I WANTED MY GRANDFATHER CLOCK CLEANED. A MAN CAME TO THE HOUSE AND EXPLAINED THAT SINCE IT HAD BEEN SEVERAL YEARS SINCE I HAD THE CLOCK SERVICED IT NEEDED EXTENSIVE SERVICING. COST $450 CASH ONLY. I HESITATED BUT WANTED THE CLOCK IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION. HE TOOK ALL THE PIECES WITH HIM. TWO WEEKS LATER HE RETURNED - THE CLOCK WAS RUNNING HOWEVER ALL OF THE PIECES INCLUDING THE PENDULUM WERE FILTHY. HE TOOK THEM AWAY CLEAN AND BROUGHT THEM BACK FILTHY. WHEN I QUESTIONED HIM HE SIMPLY SAID WE DON'T CLEAN THEM!!! I PAID HIM AND CALLED THE STORE TO COMPLAIN AND FOUND OUT THAT THE MAN WAS THE OWNER. VERY VERY VERY BAD. THE OWNER OBVIOUSLY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HIS BUSINESS OR HIS CUSTOMERS!

TERRIBLE store. The owner RUINED the value of my antique clock in March 2012. When I accidentally overwound it, I took it in to be serviced ~~ no big deal it had happened ten years earlier, fixed no problem. But THIS time he said I should put in new works. I only just found out from a friend, this DESTROYS value. Plus he now had the antique inner works to sell or do what he wished with. Even worse, the new pendulum he installed hits the case when it swings, so it won't work. $200 of service down the drain, plus the value of a ruined antique GONE. Do NOT use this clock company.
