My Pop took his weedeater & chain saw to these folks, he wasn't having problems with them, he just likes to take them in every so often so they continue to give him good service. When he showed up top get them they tried to give him the wrong chain saw & he resisted. The owner acted ugly & rude to my 72 year old father & told him that he knew which one was his & it wasn't the one that my Pop was insisting was his & forced him to take a different saw home or not take one at all. "Besides" the owner said "this is a newer one anyway" like that makes it all better. Now Pop may be 72, but he has a great memory & he keeps everything, you guessed it, he has the owners manual to the one he was forced to leave behind. Well, Pop being Pop decided to just go with it. When he got home he had to use an adjustable wrench to get the gas cap off to put gas in it & try out his "NEW" chainsaw. He had to wrench it all the way off and then it would not go back on because it was the wrong one. What does Pop do? He orders the correct one for it off the internet. Today it came in & he tried to start the saw (because now he can fill it with gas & easily screw on the cap) after cleaning the filter, installing a new spark plug (yes this saw just left the shop supposedly ready to go) & pushing the primer six times, it started on the second pull. Great! except smoke started boiling out from the saw & the chain would not move. There was nothing binding the chain or clutch .....cont.
