Absolutely unprofessional business manners and inferior quality of work. I have made numerous attempts to give this business the opportunity to make their mistakes right but they have failed to do anything but come up with excuses. From the start- overpromised on the phone but changes it in the contract (fully acknowledge I accepted the contract as it was). I was very specific in asking if he subcontracted or had a crew of his own employees, he outright lied because he ended up firing the subcontractors after a week (said it would take 4 days) and trying to hide the mistakes they made (obvious to me and I’m not a contractor... studs at 24 in, wrong roof pitch, etc...). When he fired them... at my house they stormed off and broke our backyard fence which is other crew TRIED to repair the next day (guess what didn’t last). Then he kept trying to get concessions and get my wife to give him money outside of the contract when I wasn’t home “because he couldn’t afford to pay his workers that day”... a great indicator of a successful business with a manager who can do his job. He then argued about what the contract actually said (it’s in black and white) and refused to something to code so we just told him to not bother doing it because we were so happy to be rid of him and his crew it was worth paying someone else to do it. He kept trying to get us to not get a permit... “trying to save us money” but it was obvious that his crew had trouble doing things to code and he didn’t
