Established in 2010 by Priyanka Behl, Ruana Designs also specializes in custom fabrics for residential and commercial projects catering to homeowners, interior designers and architects. Ruana Designs believes in manufacturing the highest quality of fabrics which include embroidery, block and screen print, Jacquard weave, handmade beadwork and embellishments. Ruana Designs was inspired by Behl’s love for people, places and cultures through her extensive travels to the Far East. Behl works with various artisans in India to personally oversee production, experiment with new techniques and collaborate with artisans creating patterns on fabric. Behl’s vast experience in the textile industry started with designing scarves which lead to working directly with textile manufacturers to create fabrics for home furnishings.
