As the result of a traumatic experience, clients of mine needed counselling to cope. I became aware of the situation late in the day on a Friday afternoon. I offered to help my clients find some assistance. After two unsuccessful attempts at locating a crisis counselor who would speak with the distraught clients on short notice I found Jane. She was immediately responsive, agreeing to contact my clients right away. She committed to meet with them on the weekend if they felt the need to do so.
Jane responded to the predicament and stepped right up to meet the needs of my upset clients. She handled the matter very well, making herself available at the clients’ convenience, sensitively assessing their needs and capably helping them cope with the difficult situation.
