Our firm was founded in Omaha, Nebraska in 1980 by Roy Sides, a firm dedicated to providing professional services for Public Works projects. The company was named Sides & Associates and began to serve the growing demand for Construction Administration services. R.W. Engineering & Surveying (RW) is the successor in interest to Sides & Associates. Started in 2006, when long time employee, Russell Falconer, PE purchased the company. RW is a certified Emerging Small Business with the City of Omaha, tier II program in the areas of Engineering Services, Drafting Services and Surveying and Mapping. RW is one of three firms selected state wide to provide surveying services to the Nebraska Department of Roads (NDOR) on a continuous contract since 2002. Construction Administration RW Engineering & Surveying provides comprehensive services to public and private clients from conceptual design through project design, and construction administration and inspection. GPS Controlled Machine Modeling RW Engineering & Surveying has been building models for 3D machine control systems since 2004. Whether it’s a 3D GPS Dozer or an ATS Grader with millimeter accuracy, we can build the appropriate model. We are one of Nebraska’s most experienced firms when it comes to utilizing this technology.
