YPF seeks to empower youth to be neighborhood leaders of character, vision and action through active participation in local wellness and entertainment The YPF goal is to bring together a variety of nonprofit organizations that serve youth as partners, in a common initiative to share talent, knowledge, cultures, differences and social experiences in a way that will unite youth, groups and communities in the fight against Obesity and Overweight issues, targeting youth and including adults. This is accomplished through the use of the arts, entertainment, sports, wellness, education and interaction/intervention. YPF sponsors fundraising events and youth and family activities throughout the 7-counties contiguous to Harris (Houston) County Texas.
