I have voted for and bestowed the following Prestigious Award to Sequoyah Electric LLC LAST PLACE COMPANY TO WORK FOR 2015 - SEATTLE WASHINGTON AREA Special Recognition Award For The Most Worthless Teamwork & Collaboration 1) WAGE THEFT SCAM One day the Company instructed me to work some longer hours on the job site. So I complied with the company’s directive and as a result I worked overtime hours. On the day following my extra overtime work, I reminded the Company to make sure that they pay me for my overtime wages that I had earned. Meanwhile, at the Sequoyah Electric Headquarters in Redmond WA the Bosses got hopping mad that they now owed me some additional wages. So the Corporate Bosses sprung into action and decided not to pay me for my earned overtime wages. Then the Corporate Bosses decided to dock me some straight time wages also, just for good measure. Naturally I could smell this employer wage theft scam from a mile away ! So I did the right thing. I dumped this rat bunch ! I quit the Company. ( I have not decided yet if I will file a Wage Complaint with Washington Labor & Industries for this violation of Washington’s Labor Law) 2) BIZARRE CORPORATE CULTURE I have worked for Sequoyah Electric twice. At the end of both of my tours with Sequoyah Electric I left the company totally shocked at the very high number of employees that were “ 3 French Fries Short of a Happy Meal “.
