Who is responsible for defending them : State Department or DOD ? 3. Why was there not a contingency plan to deal with mob attacks on these compounds? 4. Twenty minutes away was Navy Air with lethal ability. A flight of Navy fighter bombers strafing that mob would have worked. A mob is a mob - destroying and killing Americans should not be tolerated, regardless of instigation.
